Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, Episode 3, Sees Huntington, West Virginia Teenagers Get "Drafted"
Getting "America's Fattest City" to change its bad eating habits was further showcased on this new reality show program.

The show opened with Oliver driving and hearing a caller on a local radio show showing support for the healthier eating cause, even though the on air personality says that once the British chef is gone, the city will revert back to eating badly. Then viewers of this new ABC program got to see Jamie and Central City Elementary School cafeteria worker Alice scrapping at each other, mostly with Alice bitchin' over Jamie's "tasteless chicken", and saying that Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution should've taken place in a "practice kitchen." But not all the staff is resistant, as "The Naked Chef" got a boost from cafeteria worker Millie.
Later, Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution saw "The Naked Chef" go back to the elementary school so viewers could hear some more bitchin' by Alice, who said that she likes the food in general, but creating it from scratch is going to take too much time. Rhonda, who policies the district's menu, agreed, and was worried about the lack of money needed to train cafeteria workers to make meals from scratch expediently. Jamie came up with an idea to help raise money for the training: using high school kids to help create a meal for the local poobahs.

Oliver got permission to try his food program out on Huntington High School, and he noticed that while there is a salad bar for the teenagers, they mostly go for the comfort food, especially the French fries. So Jamie recruited several students to begin creating some winning recipes, and during the process, he heard some of their stories, including Marisa's, who lost her father due to obesity, as well as Britney's story of fighting obesity. The latter was moved to tears twice on the program because her obesity is causing her days to be numbered, for she's already got liver spots.
When Oliver tried serving a healthy Chinese meal of stir fry and noodles at the high school, the district's food policewoman Rhonda was there getting on his case for the lack of vegetables in his noodle dish, even though greasy French fries count as just dandy, and helps in making the eats there a "reimbursable meal." This got "The Naked Chef" riled up to where he had the fries 86'ed and began serving the high schoolers some healthier dishes.

"The Naked Chef" and his team of six teens prepared a big meal for 80 movers and shakers around the area, hoping to raise the money for cafeteria staff training. They had 3 hours to do so, and barely pulled it off, despite being shorthanded for a spell as one of the teens, Robert, ditched them for a football game, but came back to help. Britney was having a hard time doing the work because of the exertion, but was able to do 2 hours of work before pooping out. Some of the food was being burned a bit, but otherwise turned out fine.
Jamie Oliver complimented the teens since they hadn't been charged with such a task before, yet they also made the plates look attractive for the guests. The diners thought Jamie Oliver was cooking the meal for them, and enjoyed the food. But when it was revealed to the big wigs on Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution that teenagers were the cooks, they reacted very positively, especially when the kids shared their personal accounts. The "local senator (he was referred to as that designation)" who attended said that their efforts were going to help change things.
